JULIA LEIFERT as a pioneer of "New Luxury" fashion from Germany stands for a holistic philosophy since many years.

MATERIALS & INNOVATION

All our carefully selected organic and natural materials can be traced back to their origin. We avoid fur, leather, down as well as polyester or admixtures of other petroleum-based materials and make sure that virgin wool and Ahimsa silk are animal-friendly. Processing, dyeing and finishing of the fabrics are regularly checked for working conditions and environmental compatibility as well as for ingredients that are not harmful to the health and skin of workers and customers. Quality and design are based on the idea of a circular economy. To make the goods as durable as possible and allow them to have several life cycles. The materials we use are CO2 friendly, grown on natural soils and produced with a minimum of waste. The integration of innovations and the use of the latest 3D technologies save resources and the environment.

PRODUCTION

Production takes place in Germany under fair and transparent conditions near Berlin. This saves emissions and enables good, long-term relationships as well as the economic stabilization of local businesses. Plastic is avoided in the value-added process as well as in packaging and shipping. To avoid overproduction and the waste of resources, there are no short-lived seasonal products, but pieces that are available as year-round.
